The company starts a remarkable expansion in the field of the wholesale-trade of pharmaceuticals. After acquiring Libra Plc. (the former pharmaceutical centre of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county), the unification of the three large pharmaceutical wholesalers take place, under the name of Bellis Plc., which has become the pharmaceutical wholesaler with the fourth larger turnover in Hungary. Béres Holding has evolved to be a group with high potential, employing more than six hundred people from the former enterprise with ten employees
The future: Developments of course are not over here. A whole range of curatives whose content and indication correspond to the highest needs are under various stages of development and patenting. The product-portfolio is gradually expanding, parallel to the growth of the company.
Products: Béres Drops, Actival, Béres bone strengthening , Vitamin C , Dissolving and chewing tablets, Antifront Drops, Stibol. / Béres Industrial and Manufacturing Ltd., the modern and GMP-conform pharmaceutical factory of Béres Public Limited Company (Béres Rt.), which is in compliance with international standards and requirements, employs a staff of 80 full-time employees. Béres Drops Plus (Béres Csepp Plusz), Vitalin, Vitakid, and VitaSport dissolving and chewing tablets, Béres Vitamin C and since the summer of 1998 Actival as well are being produced here. Actival is a product of outstanding importance and its production posed a new challenge for the pharmaceutical factory.

Outside these counties Bellis Plc. is in contractual relations with almost all pharmacies of the region.
