Gammaster was created in 1968 as an entity of OPG, a Dutch cooperative of Pharmacists, now listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange as OPG Group NV. An electron-beam machine was added in 1999 to our range of gamma irradiators.

Applications include:
Sterilisation,
Decontamination of ingredients, semi-finished or finished products in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries medicinal plants, algae, talcum powder, clay, gum arabic, blood proteins, spices.
Polymerisation or cross-linking without chemical initiators of certainpolymers.
