Crucell B.V.

In December 1998, Rendex invested in IntroGene BV, Leiden, the Netherlands. In June 2000 Introgene merged with U-BiSys BV, Utrecht, the Netherlands, to form Crucell BV at the Bioscience Park in Leiden.
Crucell's human expression cell line, PER.C6TM and human antibody technology provide a powerful platform for the discovery of drug targets, and the development of biopharmaceuticals. Crucell's focus is on human antibody-based therapeutics for the treatment of cancer and inflammatory diseases and on human vaccines.
