Bitop produces natural substances (compatible solutes / chemical chaperones) from bacteria. Ectoine and hydroxyectoine have a wide range of applications in life sciences: stabilization and protection of biomolecules (enzymes, antibodies, nucleic acids ...), cells, organisms. Optimization of PCR, biotechnical production procedures and biosensors. Other natural compounds under development. Microorganisms for degradation (i.e. formaline and phenole) are optimized.
