Heber Biotec is a cuban company that commercialize the final products, active principles, production technologies and R&D projects developed by the Center for Genetic Engeneering in Havana, Cuba. In a few years, a small core of reserchers peer into the complex world of new technologies, dominate it and create the present Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) of Havana, Cuba This Centre nowaday has facilities by 70,000 m2 and more than 1,100 workers, outfitted with the state of the art technology to run full projects since the idea to the product, from cloning and expresing in the lab to the industrial manufacturing and Marketing.
