Partners / Alliances: September 2002-Amylin announced a global agreement with Eli Lilly on the development and commercialization of exenatide (synthetic exendin-4). Lilly and Amylin work together in a consensus fashion to co-develop and co-commercialize exenatide. May 2000-Amylin signed an agreement with Alkermes for the development and manufacturing of an injectable sustained release formulation of exenatide.The goal of this agreement is to develop a sustained release formulation of exenatide for type 2 diabetes.
